Adriatic Lines Check-In & Boarding
Arrival Time
For international trips, try to arrive at the port 2 to 3 hours before departure. In Venice and Croatia, check-in closes 15 minutes before the ferry leaves.
eTicket
After booking, you’ll get a PDF ticket by email. You can print it or show it on your phone when boarding.
Web Check-In
Online check-in is not available. All passengers need to check in at the port in person.
Paper Tickets
Paper tickets are not issued. Use the eTicket sent to your email for boarding.
Vehicles on Board
Adriatic Lines ferries are for foot passengers only. Vehicles are not allowed on board.
Required Documents
Bring your eTicket and valid ID. A driver’s license is not accepted for international travel. Make sure you have any necessary visas or documents, as the ferry company is not responsible if boarding or entry is denied.
Travel Reminders
- Make sure you meet all border and customs rules.
- Reconfirm departure times 24 hours before you travel, both ways.
- If a delay or issue is caused by not following rules, you may be responsible for the costs.

Passengers without a Vehicle

Transfer of an unaccompanied vehicle with Adriatic Lines
An unaccompanied vehicle cannot be transferred with Adriatic Lines. If you need confirmation or further details, please contact our support team.

Adriatic Lines Pet Policy
Pets are welcome on Adriatic Lines, as long as a few rules are followed to keep things safe and pleasant for everyone on board.
- Pets must be added at the time of booking, with the help of our customer support team. A fee of €10 per pet applies.
- You will need a valid pet passport, health certificate, and proof of vaccinations for both departure and arrival ports.
- Pets over 10 kg must stay in the ship’s kennel. Smaller pets can stay in a personal carrier, but may still need to use the kennel in some cases.
- Cats must travel in secure cages. Dogs must be on a leash, wear a muzzle, and stay within size limits (no more than 60 cm long and 50 cm tall).
- Service animals are allowed in passenger areas with proper certification and do not need to use the kennel.
- Pets cannot enter indoor spaces, roam freely on deck, or stay in seating areas. Make sure to bring anything your pet may need during the trip.
- Pets are not allowed on the international route from Dubrovnik to Budva and Kotor.
- The ship’s Master may deny boarding to any animal, even if all rules are followed. In these cases, no refunds will be given.

Loyalty Program
Adriatic Lines currently doesn’t offer a loyalty program or member card. If you believe otherwise, let us know! Our support team will gladly update any missing info—because keeping things shipshape is what we do best.

Adriatic Lines Luggage Allowance
Each passenger can bring:
- 1 checked bag (no fixed size or weight limit)
- 1 hand luggage item up to 56 × 45 × 25 cm and 10 kg
All personal items like a handbag, laptop, or camera must fit inside your hand luggage. These are included in your ticket and do not need to be declared in advance.
Extra luggage can be added when booking for €5 per item per leg or at check-in for €10, please inform our support team for any extra luggage. Make sure your bags have name tags and only contain personal belongings. Unaccompanied luggage is not allowed and may be removed for safety reasons.
Infants and Special Items
- Infants do not have a luggage allowance, but one collapsible pushchair per infant travels free.
- Extra infant items like car seats or travel cots count toward your luggage and may cost more if you go over the limit.
- Bicycles are not treated as luggage and cost €10 each. Space is limited, so it is best to reserve in advance. E-bikes and scooters are not allowed.
Boarding Info
- From Croatia: You must carry all luggage through border control yourself.
- From Venice: Checked bags go to the check-in desk for scanning. Hand luggage stays with you through security. Make sure to identify your checked bag before boarding so the crew can load it onto the ship.
- You can bring small items to your seat, but larger hand luggage needs to be stored in the areas shown by the crew.
- Bulky items or cargo may be allowed at the ship master’s discretion and may come with extra charges.
