Cape Verde Pet Policy
Bringing your pet on Cape Verde vessels is allowed, but certain guidelines must be followed to ensure a safe and comfortable journey. Pet travel guidelines:
- Pets over 10 kg must stay in the ship’s kennel.
- Pets under 10 kg can remain in their owner’s carrier but may still require a ship’s kennel if necessary.
- Pets are not allowed indoors or to roam freely on deck.
- All dogs must wear a muzzle when walking on board and must be leashed with a handler.
- Service dogs are exempt from kennel requirements.
- No specific pet ticket is needed unless otherwise stated during booking or by support staff.
- A valid pet passport, health certificate, or service license is required, along with essential travel items.
- Unaccompanied pets are not accepted—owners are responsible for their pet’s care, safety, and hygiene throughout the journey.
