Arrival Time
Passengers without vehicles should arrive no later than 60 minutes before departure. Passengers with vehicles should arrive no later than 120 minutes before departure.

Online check-in is not supported. You will receive your ticket information directly at the ticket booth.
Paper Ticket

Vehicles on Board

Passengers without a Vehicle
No car? No worries! Foot passengers are welcome on Color Line vessels. Simply walk onboard and enjoy comfy seating, delicious dining, and stunning sea views. Boarding is hassle-free, and you’ll have full access to all the great amenities onboard!
Transfer of an unaccompanied vehicle with Color Line
An unaccompanied vehicle cannot be transferred with Color Line. If this information is incorrect, please contact our support team for clarification.
Color Line Pet Policy
Pets are welcome aboard Color Line vessels, but not on 2-day Oslo cruises. Follow these key guidelines:
- Pets over 10 kg must stay in the ship’s kennel.
- Pets under 10 kg can remain in their owner’s kennel but may still require a ship kennel.
- Muzzles are required for all dogs, regardless of size.
- No pets allowed indoors or roaming freely on deck.
- Aboard MS Color Fantasy and MS Color Magic, pet-friendly cabins are available (requires a pet ticket).
- Service dogs are exempt from kennel requirements.
- A specific pet ticket may be required, contact our support team to book it.
- Papers like a pet passport, health certificate, or service dog license are mandatory.
- Certain vessels allow a limited number of dogs on board – contact our support team for more information.
The car deck air is renewed, but temperatures vary—owners must ensure their pet’s well-being during the crossing. Prepare essentials for your pet’s comfort during the trip!
