Cors'Express Fleet

Cors’Express operates a single flagship vessel: the Christine L. This latest-generation hydrofoil is built exclusively for foot passengers, gliding above the waves for a fast, smooth, and eco-friendly crossing. It carries up to 220 passengers and measures 32 meters, running three times cleaner than a plane and twice as fast as a traditional ferry.

About Cors'Express

Cors’Express launched in 2026 as a new way to cross between Corsica and Italy. Its flagship hydrofoil, the Christine L, carries foot passengers only, cutting the crossing to as little as two hours between Bastia and the Italian coast. The company has quickly drawn attention from French and Italian media as a faster, lighter alternative to conventional car ferries, with year-round sailings linking Bastia to Livorno, Genoa, and Civitavecchia (for Rome).

Onboard, travelers get comfortable two-level seating, reserved seats for passengers with reduced mobility, vending machines, and paid Wi-Fi. No vehicles, no long queues, just a quick hop across the Mediterranean!

Cors'Express Luggage Allowance

There are a few limits on luggage, depending on the type of the ticket. But nothing to worry about: you can bring your backpack (40x30x15cm) on board at no extra cost. Just remember: anything undeclared gets charged at the port, and large bags need to go in the dedicated area on the rear upper deck rather than travel with you in the cabin.

Guiding Principles

Cors’Express set out in 2026 to modernize travel between Corsica and Italy, replacing slower conventional ferries with a fast, foot-passenger hydrofoil service. The company focuses on speed, simplicity, and environmental responsibility, positioning its crossings as three times less polluting than air travel while cutting journey times in half compared to traditional ferries.

Deeply rooted in Bastia, its home port, Cors’Express has built local partnerships to support the island’s tourism and business travel appeal.

By prioritizing efficiency, safety, and a lighter environmental footprint, Cors’Express aims to become a lasting, sustainable link between Corsica and mainland Italy.
