Erturk Lines Check-In & Boarding
Arrival Time
Arrive at least 1 hour before departure to complete check-in. Vehicle passengers must also check in 1 hour before departure. Late arrivals after 08:45 AM (morning trips) or 18:15 PM (evening trips) will not be processed by customs, resulting in denied boarding.
Check-In Process
Check-in takes place at the Ulusoy Port Office. Passengers must present their vouchers at check-in. If a valid voucher is not provided and the ticket cannot be located in the system, boarding will not be permitted.
Boarding Time
Passengers must be at the ferry at least 15 minutes before departure. If visiting the Cafeteria or Free Shop, ensure you return in time for boarding.
Vehicles On Board
Vehicle check-in is only available at the Ulusoy Port Office, where drivers receive priority.
- Company vehicles require proof of ownership or a notarized power of attorney for employees.
- Rental cars must have a notarized authorization letter for international travel.
- No international driver’s license is required for travel to Chios.
- Yeşil Sigorta insurance is required for vehicle coverage abroad and must be purchased separately.
- Drivers must embark and disembark their own vehicles.
Ensure all check-in and boarding requirements are met to avoid delays.

Transfer of an unaccompanied vehicle with Erturk Lines
Erturk Lines does not currently offer an unaccompanied vehicle transfer service. For specific arrangements or inquiries, please contact customer support.
Erturk Lines Pet Policy
Pets are welcome aboard Ertürk Lines vessels, provided all necessary travel requirements are met.
Pet Travel Requirements
- Passengers traveling with pets must inform Ertürk Offices at least 2 hours before departure.
- Required documents must be obtained from Ertürk Offices and submitted to the Ertürk Çeşme Office at least 2 days before departure.
- Travel is subject to approval from the Chios Veterinary Presidency. Without approval, the booking cannot be confirmed.
Onboard Regulations
- Pets must remain in designated areas throughout the trip.
- Pets must be leashed and accompanied at all times.
- Unaccompanied pets are not permitted.
Documentation
Owners must carry all necessary travel documents, including an updated pet health booklet, pet passport, or any additional documentation required by authorities.
Ensure all pet travel requirements are met in advance to avoid any disruptions to your journey.

Erturk Lines Luggage Allowance
Passengers traveling with Ertürk Lines are entitled to bring luggage on board, subject to the following conditions.
Allowed Baggage
- Each passenger may bring one piece of hand luggage at no extra charge.
- Additional or oversized luggage may be subject to extra fees.
Restricted Items
- Dangerous, hazardous, or prohibited materials are not allowed in passenger luggage.
- Passengers are responsible for ensuring that their luggage complies with security and customs regulations.

- Passengers must keep their personal belongings with them at all times.
