About Ichnusa Lines
Ichnusa Lines was founded in 2021 by two historic Genoa-based companies: Finsea Group (logistics) and San Giorgio del Porto (ship repairs), united by a shared maritime heritage. Managed by Genova Trasporti Marittimi, Ichnusa Lines operates a seasonal route between Santa Teresa Gallura (Italy) and Bonifacio (France) from April 1 to October 31. The vessel, designed for the challenging Bocche di Bonifacio, offers excellent stability even in rough seas. Onboard amenities include a bar, a children’s play area, and accessibility for passengers with reduced mobility.
Ichnusa Lines Check-In & Boarding
Arrival Time
Foot passengers should arrive about 30 minutes prior to departure. Passengers with a car should be on the quay at least one hour before the ship’s departure. Passengers with reduced mobility who have requested assistance must present themselves at the embarkation point at least one hour before the ship’s departure. Once the above deadlines have elapsed, the booking expires and embarkation is no longer guaranteed.

Ichnusa Lines Pet Policy
Pets are welcome aboard Ichnusa Lines’ vessel, but they must remain in their carrier for the entire journey. Owners must purchase the appropriate ticket when booking.
- A muzzle and a leash are required for dogs of all sizes.
- Alternatively, they can remain in their carry case, which the Passenger is responsible for embarking, for the duration of the whole trip.
- Other animals, such as cats and birds, must also remain in their carry cases or cages.
- No roaming is allowed indoors or on deck.
- Service dogs are welcome anywhere with their owners, but you must carry valid documentation (certifications issued more than 90 days before departure are not considered valid) – are exempt from payment of a ticket.
Required documents include a pet passport, health certificate, or service dog license. Ensure your pet has essentials like water, snacks, and a comfortable carrier for the trip!
Loyalty Program

Ichnusa Lines Luggage Allowance
With Ichnusa Lines, you can bring one piece of hand luggage for free, as long as it contains personal items and is packed in a suitcase, box, or similar container. The dimensions must not exceed 150 × 50 × 30 cm. When booking your ticket with us, you’ll know exactly what rules apply to your luggage in advance.
