Jale Turizm Fleet
Jale Turizm runs a compact two-vessel fleet built for the short crossing between Turkey and Greece. The Fatih Jale is a conventional passenger and vehicle ferry with open-deck seating and a garage with room for bicycles, motorbikes, cars and campervans, and it currently operates the Ayvalık–Mytilene route. The Asil Jale is a fast, passenger-only craft for those traveling without a vehicle.

About Jale Turizm
Jale Turizm was founded in 1983 by Captain Fatih Jale, an experienced seafarer who wanted to build a maritime business based on reliability and genuine care for passengers. Today the company operates under Asil Jale Deniz Taşımacılığı Gemi Acenteliği Turizm ve Ticaret A.Ş. It has grown beyond ferry crossings into ship agency, maritime tourism and travel services. More than four decades on, it still follows the values it started with, and it has built long-standing partnerships with clients in Turkey and abroad.

Jale Turizm Check-In & Boarding
Arrival Time
Plan to arrive at the port at least 1 hour before departure. That leaves time for passport and visa checks and for collecting your boarding pass. Check-in closes 15 minutes before departure, and all passengers must be on board by then. On weekends and in high season, arrive a little earlier.
Web Check-in
Web check-in is not supported.
Vehicle Onboard
The Fatih Jale takes bicycles, motorbikes, cars, jeeps, minibuses, campervans and small trailers. Vehicle space is limited, especially in summer, so book your spot in advance. Drivers should allow extra time for customs checks at the border. Wait for the crew’s signal before driving or walking on or off the ramp. Bicycles travel free.
Ticket Options
Book your Jale Turizm tickets on Ferryscanner and keep your booking confirmation with you. Before boarding, collect your ticket at the Jale Turizm office at the port by showing your booking confirmation number.
Required Documents
All passengers, including children, need a passport that is valid for at least 3 months after the end of the trip. Turkish citizens with a regular passport need a valid Schengen visa or the express “gate visa” for Lesvos, which Jale Turizm can help arrange. Holders of green or grey Turkish passports don’t need a visa. Passports with a Northern Cyprus entry stamp are not accepted for travel to Greece. Drivers should also carry their driving licence, vehicle registration documents and Green Card insurance, which Jale Turizm also sells. For safety reasons, women more than six months pregnant can’t travel on Jale Turizm ferries.
Accessible Travel for All
Passengers with reduced mobility or special assistance needs should contact Jale Turizm directly at least 2 days before departure, so the operator can arrange the right support at the port and on board.
Wheelchair Access
Ramps and spaces for easy wheelchair access.
