Arrival Time
Passengers are advised to arrive at the port at least 30 or 45 minutes before departure to allow enough time for ticket validation and boarding, especially during the busy summer season.

Passengers without a Vehicle
Joy Blue Star does not allow vehicles on board, so the only way to travel to or from Agathonisi is as a foot passenger. Don’t worry, the vessels are designed to make the journey comfortable.

Joy Blue Star Pet Policy
Joy Blue Star welcomes pets on board! You can plan your trip with your furry companion without any problem. Here are a few things you should know before traveling:
- Pets are welcome on their vessels, they will remain in the designated outdoor deck areas.
- They must be kept on a leash or inside a carrier.
- Please make sure to have your pet’s health documents available in case they are requested by the crew.
- As a plus recommendation, we suggest to bring everything your pet may need during the crossing, such as water, food or any essential items for them.

Loyalty Program
At the moment, Joy Blue Star does not offer its own loyalty program or membership card for passengers. If you believe this information may be outdated or incorrect, our customer support team will be happy to assist you.
However, you can still make every booking more rewarding! By creating a Ferryscanner account, you can join our Ferryscanner Miles program, a rewards system designed to give you discounts every time you travel. Simply book your ferry tickets through your account and start collecting miles with each completed trip. Your miles build up automatically and can later be redeemed at checkout for discounts on future bookings, helping you save while you travel.
Joy Blue Star Luggage Allowance
Each passenger is responsible for carrying and managing their own luggage throughout the journey and each passenger is entitled to 1 suitcase weighing up to 20 kg.
For any additional baggage, you may be charged an extra cost, ranging from €10 to €20, depending on the size of the item. Passengers are advised to handle their belongings with care, as the company is not responsible for loss or damage to luggage during the trip.
And of course, for the safety and comfort of all passengers, no dangerous or illegal items are allowed on board under any circumstances.
