Magic Sea Ferries Check-In & Boarding
Arrival Time
Please arrive at the gate at least 30 minutes before departure, or one hour before departure if traveling with a vehicle. Boarding at Piraeus Port takes place at Gate E8 or Gate E9.
eTicket Options
eTickets are available. A PDF file will be sent to your email so you can download or print it later.
Web Check-in
Web check-in is available 48 to 2 hours before departure. Completing this process verifies your boarding and generates your ticket confirmation email.
Paper Ticket
Paper tickets aren’t provided.
Vehicles on Board
Magic Sea Ferries offers vehicles on board on one of its three vessels. You can also travel with your bicycle or motorcycle. For cars, campers, and trucks, check prices during booking or contact our support team.
Electric & Alternative Fuel Vehicles (AFVs)
Passengers traveling with Alternative Fuel Vehicles (AFVs) must declare them when booking their tickets. AFVs include:
- Hybrid and electric vehicles with accumulators (batteries).
- Vehicles using liquefied or compressed gaseous fuels (LPG, natural gas).
For safety reasons, the following regulations apply:
Electric & Rechargeable Hybrid Vehicles:
- Battery temperature must be checked before boarding.
- Charge level must not exceed 40% of total capacity.
LPG & Natural Gas Vehicles:
- Fuel tanks must not exceed 50% of total capacity.
Passengers/drivers must inform the crew immediately if their vehicle displays any warning signs or alarms. Vehicles with a fuel system, tank, or battery malfunction (if not removed) are prohibited from boarding.
Owners are responsible for ensuring their vehicle is in proper working condition. The shipping company may verify this as needed. Charging electric or hybrid vehicles on board is strictly prohibited, and they must not be connected to any power source during the journey.
Required Documents
Passengers must present valid tickets and identification documents (passport, ID card, or driver’s license). If traveling with a discounted ticket, carry the required supporting documents, or the fare difference will be charged.

Magic Sea Ferries Pet Policy
Pets are welcome aboard Magic Sea Ferries vessels. Follow these key guidelines:
- Pets over 10 kg must stay in the ship’s kennel (available on CAT I).
- Pets under 10 kg can remain in their owner’s kennel.
- A muzzle is required for dogs of all sizes.
- Service dogs are exempt from kennel requirements.
- No pets are allowed indoors or to roam freely on deck.
- No specific pet ticket is needed unless stated otherwise during booking or by support staff.
- A pet passport, health certificate, or service dog license is required.
