Menorca Lines is a brand of Trasmapi, a Spanish shipping company operating since 1974 in the Balearic Islands. Trasmapi is a leading ferry operator, transporting nearly 1 million passengers annually on its primary Ibiza-Formentera route. The company, officially known as SERCOMISA (Servicios y Concesiones Marítimas Ibicencas SA), is part of the Insotel Group, a family-owned Balearic corporation headquartered in Ibiza, with a long history in the tourism sector since its founding in the 1960s by Alonso Marí Calbet. The company prioritizes sustainability, incorporating fuel-efficient technology to reduce emissions and protect marine ecosystems. Passengers without a Vehicle

Transfer of an unaccompanied vehicle with Menorca Lines
An unaccompanied vehicle cannot be transferred with Menorca Lines. This service is not available. If you need further information, please contact our support team.
Menorca Lines Pet Policy
Pets are welcome aboard Menorca Lines vessels. Here’s more details:
- All pets must be microchipped, vaccinated for rabies (if over 3 months), and have a passport or vet card with owner info, pet ID, and vaccination records.
- Dogs must wear a collar with an ID tag showing the owner’s phone number.
- Potentially dangerous breeds require a municipal license and civil liability insurance, and must wear a basket-type muzzle onboard.
- Dogs can be outside carriers in designated areas if on a harness and leash.
- Cats must stay in a carrier at all times.
- Owners are responsible for pet hygiene, cleaning up, and preventing damage or disturbance.
- Animal mistreatment is prohibited and may be reported.
- Menorca Lines provides 4 pet cages onboard: 2 large (100×59×60 cm) and 2 medium (80×50×58 cm).
