About Viking Line

Viking Line has been shaping ferry travel in the Baltic Sea since 1959. What began with the S/S Viking, the first true car ferry in the region, has grown into a leading company connecting Finland, Sweden, Estonia, and the Åland Islands. Headquartered in the Åland Islands, Viking Line is a proud part of the region’s maritime tradition and continues to play a vital role in Baltic Sea travel.

With a modern fleet offering comfortable crossings, Viking Line brings together great dining, duty-free shopping, and onboard entertainment. Their ships are designed for both passengers and cargo, combining the charm of cruise-style travel with practical vehicle transport.

Viking Line is also strongly committed to the environment. Over the years, they have pioneered sustainable innovations, including the LNG-powered Viking Grace and the energy-efficient Viking Glory. Every trip with Viking Line is a step towards more climate-smart and responsible travel across the Baltic Sea.
