Arrival Time
Arrive at the terminal 1 to 2 hours before departure to allow enough time for check-in and boarding. If you are traveling with a vehicle, aim for at least 1.5 hours before departure. Check-in closes 30 minutes prior to sailing.

eTickets are not available.
Web Check-In
Web check-in is not supported. All check-in formalities take place at the port.
Paper Ticket
Paper tickets are not provided.
Booking Confirmation
Bring your booking confirmation code to the ticket booth to collect your physical boarding passes. Make sure all details are correct before you travel, and reconfirm your booking 24 hours before departure.
Vehicles on Board
All Virtu Ferries vessels accept vehicles. You can also bring bicycles, motorcycles, and campers. For pricing or special vehicle arrangements, check during booking or contact our support team.
- Vehicles with LPG must be declared when booking and follow specific safety rules.
- Vehicles with low underfloor clearance board at their own risk and may be refused.
- Trailers and light vehicles carrying goods may be charged commercial rates.
- Drivers are responsible for properly securing cargo.
- Weapons, dangerous goods, and unauthorized electrical appliances are prohibited.

Required Documents
Make sure you have a valid passport or ID. Driving licenses and residence cards are not accepted. Minors traveling without both parents may need additional authorization forms, depending on nationality.

Virtu Ferries Pet Policy
Pets are welcome aboard Virtu Ferries, and there are several ways you can travel comfortably with your furry friend. Just follow these simple guidelines to ensure an enjoyable trip for everyone:
- Pets must always be declared at the time of booking, with the help of our customer support team.
- Bring your pet’s valid passport, vaccination certificates, and any other necessary documents.
- Small pets (up to 10 kg) may stay with you inside a leak-proof pet carrier, either in passenger areas (in designated spots) or on the outside deck. The carrier should not exceed 70 cm x 51 cm x 51.5 cm.
- Larger pets (over 10 kg) have three options:
- Stay safely in the air-conditioned pet cabin with company-supplied cages (pre-booking required).
- Remain inside your vehicle during the crossing, provided windows are left open and the pet is comfortable. Please note that plugging in electric fans is not allowed.
- Stay in a pet cage on the outside passenger deck under your supervision. Pets must always remain inside their cages.
- All dogs, regardless of size, must wear a muzzle and be leashed when outside a cage or during transit through passenger areas.
- Pets are not allowed inside lounges or common passenger areas, except for small pets in carriers in permitted zones and certified service or guide dogs.
- Certified service dogs and guide dogs are welcome throughout the ship, including passenger areas, provided proper documentation is submitted in advance and presented during boarding.
- We recommend booking the air-conditioned pet cabin, especially during the summer months, for your pet’s comfort.

Virtu Ferries Luggage Allowance
Virtu Ferries allows you to bring one small piece of hand luggage up to 5 kg (37 x 45 x 25 cm) to your seat. You can also carry up to two additional bags, with a maximum of three pieces of luggage in total. Each extra bag must not exceed 50 x 40 x 80 cm and will need to be placed in the designated storage area onboard, as guided by the crew. Please note that additional or oversized luggage may incur extra charges, and the company cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage. Before you book, you’ll always have access to the latest luggage rules, so you know exactly what to expect.
