Zante Ferries Fleet
Zante Ferries operated two ferries, Dionysios Solomos to the Western Cyclades from Piraeus and Adamantios Korais between Samothrace and Lemnos from Alexandroupolis. Since Fast Ferries acquired Zante Ferries in December 2024, these routes are now operated by Fast Ferries.

About Zante Ferries
Since its founding on January 25, 1991, Zante Ferries—also known as ANMEZ—provided ferry connections between the Greek mainland, the Western Cyclades, Samothrace, and Lemnos. Operating from Piraeus and Alexandroupolis, the company became known for its reliable year-round service. Its fleet, including Dionysios Solomos and Adamantios Korais, offered comfortable travel with spacious lounges and essential onboard amenities.
In December 2024, Zante Ferries ceased operations following the acquisition of its last two vessels by Fast Ferries. While the company no longer operates, its former routes continue to be served under Fast Ferries. Travelers can still explore these destinations with alternative ferry operators.

Passengers without a Vehicle
Zante Ferries is no longer operating, it became part of Fast Ferries in December 2024. Still, many travelers remember the smooth and pleasant journeys the company once offered. If you were travelling without a vehicle, boarding as a foot passenger was easy and convenient. Spacious lounges and comfortable seats made it easy to relax and enjoy the sea views while sailing between the Cyclades and the northern Aegean.

Transfer of an unaccompanied vehicle with Zante Ferries
Zante Ferries ceased operations in December 2024 after being acquired by Fast Ferries. While the company is no longer active, it once offered practical services for travelers needing to transport vehicles without accompanying them. However, it used to offer a practical solution for unaccompanied vehicle transport. If you had a vehicle to move but didn’t plan to travel with it, Zante Ferries provided a safe and reliable way to get your car or motorbike to its destination.

Zante Ferries Pet Policy
Until December 2024, when the company was acquired by Fast Ferries, Zante Ferries welcomed pets on board and had clear guidelines in place to ensure a comfortable journey for everyone.
- Pets over 10 kg had to stay in the ship’s kennel.
- Small pets (under 10 kg) were allowed to remain in their owner’s carrier.
- All dogs, regardless of size, were required to wear a muzzle.
- Pets were not allowed to roam freely indoors or on deck.
- No pets were permitted inside public areas of the ship.
- The vessel Dionysios Solomos had designated pet kennels on board.
- Service dogs were exempt from kennel requirements, with appropriate documentation.
- A specific pet ticket was not required unless stated during booking or by support staff.
- A valid pet passport, health certificate, or service dog license was required for travel.

Loyalty Program
Zante Ferries was acquired by Fast Ferries on December 6, 2024, and no longer operates independently. Any previous loyalty programs or membership cards are no longer available. For updated loyalty benefits, check Fast Ferries or contact our customer support for details.

Zante Ferries Luggage Allowance
Until December 2024, when Zante Ferries became part of Fast Ferries, each passenger was allowed one piece of luggage up to 50 kg. Hand luggage needed to be compact for easy storage.
Guiding Principles
Zante Ferries operated safe, reliable, and comfortable ferry services from 1991 until its acquisition by Fast Ferries on December 6, 2024. With a commitment to passenger satisfaction, regional connectivity, and dependable operations, the company played a key role in linking communities across the Cyclades and Northern Aegean. While Zante Ferries no longer operates independently, its former routes continue to serve travelers under Fast Ferries.
