Marmaris

Marmaris sits on Turkey’s southwest coast, in a wide bay backed by green hills. It’s easy to reach by ferry from Rhodes (All Ports), so it’s a popular hop between Greece and Turkey, especially in summer. The route isn’t very long, which makes Marmaris a handy Destination if you’re adding Turkey to an Island-hopping plan in the Dodecanese.

Once you arrive, you’ll find a busy harbor, a long seafront promenade, and plenty of day-trip boats. From Marmaris, you can also travel along the coast by bus or car to other Turkish resorts and historic sites.
