MOBY LINES: FERRY ROUTE UPDATES IN 2024

One of the region’s top ferry companies has just announced its 2024 departures, and it includes some fantastic updates and additions to its existing routes. Whether you’re a seasoned traveler or looking for a new adventure, here’s what you need to know about Moby Lines and their 2024 ferry services. Moby Lines: Genoa – Ajaccio – Genoa

The new Genoa – Ajaccio – Genoa line will operate from June 4 until September 30, 2024.

The outbound departure from Genoa will be at 21:00 with the arrival at 6:00. The return departure time will be at 23:59 and arrival at 8:00. During the month of June the frequency will be Tuesday/Wednesday and the return will be Wednesday/Thursday.

During the months of July, August, and September, the outbound trips will take place on Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday. The return trips will happen on Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday.

Moby Lines: Piombino – Bastia – Piombino

The Piombino – Bastia route is making a comeback, operating from June 29th to September 1st, 2024. The journey is swift, with an outbound departure from Piombino at 8:30, arriving at Bastia at 11:30, and a return departure at 12:30, arriving at 15:30. The travel time is only three hours so it is a perfect option for a quick getaway.

Moby Lines: Genoa – Bastia – Genoa

Good news for travelers on the Genoa – Bastia route—the season is extending! This route will be operational from May 15th to September 30th, 2024. Depending on the time of year, you can choose between daytime and nighttime departures, with daily frequencies.

Until mid-August, the outbound journey departs at 21:00 and arrives the next morning at 7:00. From mid-August onward, the outbound journey departs during the day at 11:00 and arrives at 18:30.

On weekends and busy dates, there are daytime programs available, shortening the travel time to only 5 ½ hours.

Moby Lines: Livorno – Bastia – Livorno

The Livorno – Bastia route from Moby Lines is also extending its season, running from March 27th to November 3rd, 2024. With daily departures, you have flexibility in planning your trip. Departure from Livorno is at 8:00 (12:30 arrival), and the return journey departs at 14:00 (18:30 arrival), offering a comfortable schedule for travelers. The vessel on this route will be the Moby Vincent.

Moby Lines: Genoa – Olbia – Genoa

For those heading to Olbia, the Genoa – Olbia route has extended its season from May 8th to October 19th, 2024. Departures are available daily with various timings to suit your preferences, and some ships offer daytime departures during August for added convenience.

Moby Lines: Genoa – Porto Torres – Genoa

The Genoa – Porto Torres route is an all-year-round option, with daily departures available 365 days a year. Be sure to check the schedule on Ferryscanner as the ship makes stops in Ajaccio on specific days, altering departure and arrival times accordingly.
