Agia Marini Check-In & Boarding
Arrival at the Port
Please arrive at the port at least one hour before your ferry leaves. Boarding follows the port authority’s rules. Foot passengers are given priority, while vehicles are loaded according to port instructions.
Boarding Requirements
- Bring a valid ticket and all required travel documents with you.
- The company may refuse boarding if your documents are not in order.
- Priority boarding is available for passengers with disabilities, pregnant women, infants, and young children.
During the Trip
- Keep your ticket with you at all times. Crew may ask to see it.
- Smoking is not allowed in any indoor area or cabin.
- Please do not use lounges for sleeping or placing your luggage.
Passengers with Special Needs
If you need assistance, let us know when you book your ticket. There are designated spaces and facilities available on board, and a crew member will be assigned to help you during the trip.
Bringing a Vehicle
- Drivers must follow crew directions when driving on or off the ship.
- All passengers must leave the vehicle before it is driven onto the ferry.
- Staying inside the vehicle or in the garage area during the trip is not allowed.
- You are responsible for your vehicle during boarding and disembarking. No discounts apply for unaccompanied vehicles.

Permanent residents of Psara and children up to 4 years old travel for free with a zero-fare ticket. Children aged 5-10, large families, disabled passengers (with over 80% disability), disabled vehicle owners, NAT pensioners, and students receive a 50% discount upon presenting the required documentation.

100% discount to children up to 4 years old.
Child Ticket
50% discount for children 5 - 10 years old.
Student Fare
50% discount to students of Greek universities.
Large Family
50% discount for large families.
NAT Pensioner Fare
50% discount to NAT pensioners.
Reduced Mobility
Passengers with over 80% disability, travel with 50% discount.

Passengers without a Vehicle
Traveling without a car? The route from Chios to Psara is simple and relaxing. On Agia Marini’s ferry, foot passengers board quickly, settle into comfortable seats, and enjoy the Aegean with sea views, fresh air and a calm setting.

Agia Marini Pet Policy
Agia Marini welcomes pets on board under specific conditions to ensure a safe and comfortable journey.
All pets must have up-to-date vaccinations and a valid health book or passport, which must be presented to the crew before boarding.
- Small pets (under 10 kg) in a cage can stay with their owners in designated deck areas.
- Larger or uncaged pets must wear a leash and muzzle and may be placed in ship-provided pet cages.
- Pets are not allowed in indoor public areas or near food service areas, except when passing through.
- Service animals, such as guide dogs, can accompany their owners in passenger areas without a muzzle or carrier, provided they are on a leash and have proper certification.
- Owners are responsible for their pet’s food, hygiene, and any damage or injury caused to others.

Agia Marini Luggage Allowance
Passengers are permitted to carry only small hand luggage, which must not obstruct seats or aisles. Additional baggage or luggage stored inside vehicles must be checked into the designated baggage area for an extra fee, with a corresponding ticket issued. Carrying dangerous or prohibited items (e.g., explosives, weapons, or drugs) is strictly forbidden. In case of lost luggage, passengers must contact the company within 24 hours of travel with their ticket slip. The company and crew are not responsible for loss or compensation.
