About Ionian Seaways
Ionian Seaways has been serving the Corfu – Saranda route since 1979, offering reliable ferry connections and travel services across the Ionian Sea. In addition to its daily crossings for passengers and vehicles, the company provides sightseeing cruises, guided tours, and group trips in collaboration with Ionian Cruises. Bus transfers to and from the ports of Corfu and Saranda, as well as airport transfers on Corfu, are also available to make your trip easier.
Ionian Seaways Check-In & Boarding
Arrival Time
You should arrive at the port at least 1 hour before departure to complete check-in and boarding procedures. Terminal gates close 20 minutes before departure.
Check-In Process
All passengers must present a valid passport or identity document at check-in. Expired or invalid documents will result in denied boarding with no refund.
Boarding Time
Boarding starts 1 hour before departure and closes 30 minutes prior to the scheduled sailing. You should be ready at the gate on time to avoid missing your departure.
Vehicles
If you are traveling with a vehicle, you must arrive at least 1 hour before departure for check-in and customs control. Vehicle drivers are responsible for following the crew’s instructions during boarding and parking. Once parked, access to the garage is prohibited during the crossing, so make sure to take all personal belongings with you.
Travel Documents
A valid passport or identity card is required for all passengers, including minors. Compliance with border control regulations is mandatory.
