Arrival Time

Passengers must arrive at the ticket office at least 20 minutes before departure to complete check-in and receive their boarding pass. Printed e-tickets alone are not valid for boarding, so checking in at the port is required.

If you arrive after the 20-minute deadline, your booking will no longer be prioritized, and you will be placed on a waiting list. In this case, you can only board if there are available seats after all confirmed passengers have embarked.

At certain ports where boarding check-in is active, passengers may be allowed to board without going to the ticket office first. However, for most routes, failure to check in on time means your reservation will expire.

eTicket Options

The e-ticket received by email is not a valid ticket for boarding. To complete check-in and receive a boarding pass, passengers must visit one of NLG’s ticket offices dedicated exclusively to online tickets at the port of departure. Exception: In the ports of Positano, Amalfi, Sorrento, Capri, and Naples, check-in can be done directly at embarkation.

Web Check-In

Web check-in is not supported. Please follow standard boarding procedures upon arrival.

Paper Ticket

You will receive your ticket at the port office upon check in.

Vehicles

None of the 12 Navigazione Libera del Golfo vessels offer vehicles on board.

Required Documents

Ensure you have your ticket and identification documents ready when onboarding.

Accessible Travel for All

Navigazione Libera del Golfo (NLG) provides assistance for passengers with reduced mobility (PRMs) throughout the journey. PRMs, including those using wheelchairs, can travel if they are able to transfer to onboard seats (traveling in a wheelchair is not permitted for regulatory reasons). Trained crew members, identifiable by the “CREW” label on their uniform, are available to assist during boarding, travel, and disembarkation.

Due to daily service variations, it is not always possible to confirm which vessel will operate a specific route in the Gulf of Naples and Salerno. As a result, the availability of accessible restrooms for wheelchair users cannot be guaranteed in advance.

Wheelchair Access

Ramps and spaces for easy wheelchair access.
