How to get from Algeciras to Ceuta
On the day of your trip, please arrive at the Port of Algeciras at least 1 hour before departure, especially during busy periods such as weekends, summer, or holiday crossings.
The main passenger terminal is located at the Estación Marítima del Puerto de Algeciras (passenger ferry terminal), in the port area of the city. If travelling by car, the port is easily accessible via the A-7 or A-355 from Málaga, the E-5 from Seville, or the A-381 from Cádiz. Once in Algeciras, simply follow signs for Puerto (port) or Estación Marítima (ferry terminal).
Parking is available close to the terminal, with Parking Express and Continental Parking being the nearest and most convenient options for passengers. There is also a short-stay express car park situated directly opposite the terminal, which is particularly convenient for passengers being dropped off by family or friends.
If travelling by bus, the closest stop is the Puerto de Algeciras bus stop, located directly beside the terminal. The main Algeciras Bus Station is also nearby, around 10–15 minutes on foot, with connections to regional and national destinations.
Upon arrival, follow the signs and staff directions to your designated check-in or boarding area. During peak travel times, extra traffic may affect access to the port, so allowing additional time is recommended.
