Helsinki–Tallinn — up to 50% off, cars included

Two hours across the Gulf of Finland separates two of the Baltic’s most charming capitals, and Viking Line’s mid-summer sale makes the trip more tempting than ever, with up to 50% off standard fares.

Plenty of traellers do Helsinki–Tallinn as a day trip, and it’s easy to see why: Tallinn’s UNESCO-listed old town is a fairy-tale tangle of cobbled streets, spired churches and medieval merchant houses, all walkable from the port. But it’s just as good stretched into a longer Estonian getaway, and because this offer covers both passenger tickets and car packages, you can bring the vehicle and keep exploring beyond the city.

Fares vary by departure time and day of the week, and only a limited number of discounted spaces are set aside. Travel between 10 July and 30 September 2026, with bookings open until 20 August.

Not ready to let go of summer? Eckerö Line’s autumn campaign is built for exactly that mood, taking up to 30% off one-way, return and day-cruise tickets on the Tallinn–Helsinki route (aboard the Finlandia) and the Muuga–Vuosaari crossing (aboard the Finbo).

The trick to squeezing the most out of it is timing: midweek departures from Monday to Thursday get the full 30% off, while Friday-to-Sunday sailings are discounted 10%. Shift your trip to the quieter middle of the week and you’ll save more and share the deck with fewer people — a fair trade in our book.
