Yes, you can make a new booking at the Ferryscanner office. Also, if you have already booked online and wish to have a physical ticket, you can come to our offices and we'll print it out for you. There will be no extra charges for these services.
How can I purchase a travel voucher for ferry tickets?
Buying a travel voucher for ferry tickets is simple and flexible. Here’s how it works:

I Entered the Wrong License Plate – Can I Change It?
Ferry companies must report all vehicles on board to local port authorities, so providing the correct license plate number when booking is essential. If you entered it incorrectly, here’s what you need to know:
For domestic routes: If the vehicle type remains the same, you can typically board without issues. Simply notify the local port authorities at the port about the correct license plate.
For Zante Ferries: You must contact us to update the license plate before boarding.
For Seajets and some other ferry companies: License plate changes may require canceling and rebooking the ticket, depending on availability and the company’s cancellation policy.
For international routes: Updating incorrect license plate information is mandatory. Failure to do so may result in denied boarding.
This policy also applies to name corrections if the name is completely incorrect. If you need to update your details, please contact us as soon as possible to ensure a smooth travel experience.
Be careful when entering your details! In most cases, if your name is misspelled, the usual process requires canceling the existing ticket and booking a new one at full fare. If you notice an error in your name, please contact us directly, and we will inform the ferry company to explore possible solutions.
If you have already collected your physical ticket and then lose it, you cannot board the ferry using only your reservation or ticket number—the physical ticket is mandatory for boarding. In this situation, we recommend contacting our Customer Success Team for assistance. You will need to purchase a new ticket and formally declare the loss in writing. If the lost ticket remains unused for a specific period after your travel date, the ferry company may issue a replacement ticket of equivalent value. Please note that losing your ticket is not the same as canceling it. In the case of a lost ticket, no refund will be provided.
I haven’t received my tickets or travel documents – What should I do?
If you haven’t received a confirmation email after booking, first check your spam or junk folders, as important emails may sometimes be filtered there. If you still can’t find it, please contact us directly, and we’ll gladly resend it to you.
How can I be sure that my reservation was successfully booked?
Once your booking is successfully completed, you will receive a confirmation email with all the details. If the reservation is unsuccessful, you will be redirected to the booking page with an error message displayed. If you're unsure about the cause of the error, please contact us directly for assistance.
For every successful booking, you will receive a Ticket Sales Receipt. If you provided invoicing details during the booking process, the issued Ticket Sales Receipt (ΑΠΕ) will include this information and serve as an invoice.
Is it cheaper to book round-trip tickets or two one-way tickets?
Booking a round-trip ticket is often more cost-effective, as many ferry companies offer discounted rates for passengers choosing a return journey. If a discount applies to your trip, it will be clearly displayed during the booking process.
I will travel with a rental vehicle. What should I enter in the license plate field?
When booking a ferry ticket with a rental vehicle, you will need to enter license plate information. During the booking process, select the relevant option for rental vehicles. On the day of departure, when collecting your tickets from the ferry office, inform them of the actual license plate of your rental car, and they will update the ticket accordingly. Additionally, your rental car company may have specific restrictions or requirements for taking the vehicle on a ferry. Always check with them beforehand to ensure compliance with their policies.
How many passengers and vehicles can I include in a reservation?
The number of passengers and vehicles allowed in a single ferry reservation depends on the ferry operator’s policies and the specific booking system. Typically, you can include up to 9 passengers and 1 to 4 vehicles in a single booking. For larger groups or additional vehicles, separate reservations may be required.

Can I book a ticket for a commercial vehicle online?
Only passenger vehicle tickets can be booked online. Tickets for commercial vehicles and trucks need to be bought from the ferry company's central office.
Can electronic tickets (e-ticket) be issued for ferry travel?
Most ferry operators offer e-tickets, but not all companies currently provide this option. After completing your online booking, you will receive a confirmation email with details about the check-in process. If e-tickets are available for your ferry, you can simply download them to your phone and board without needing a printed ticket.
